Natural Lip Gloss
Man made products which were ruling the cosmetic industry, are now ignored by those who are looking for organic products. Organic products are preferred these days because they have no adverse effects. Anything that comes with herbal and natural labels is selling rapidly in the cosmetic industry. Lip gloss is a popular lip makeup product used by every woman. You can get beautiful, shining, and smooth lips with the application of lip gloss. Many companies are advertising natural lip gloss where the ingredients are organic and cruelty free. While these products are great for your lips, they are expensive on the other hand.
Natural lip gloss can be made at home if you have the necessary contents. You don’t have to be an expert to make this lip gloss. With a few normal components, you can make the lip gloss and keep it for future use. The good news is that you can add colors and flavors based on your choice to the natural lip gloss.
Beeswax and extra virgin almond oil will are essentials of your lip gloss. Slightly heat this oily mixture by indirect heating technique. You should not heat the mixture on stove directly as it will affect the healing power of the oils. Vitamin E is an essential component in any lip gloss because it has antioxidant features. This vitamin E oil nourishes your lips making your lips soft and smooth. Add a few drops of vitamin E to the hot mixture after removing it from flame. The mixture should not be steaming. If you wish, you can add any essential oil like mint, coffee, or strawberry according to your lips.
You can add more flavors by including vanilla extract or cinnamon oil. Lip gloss which is applied directly on your lips may get into your mouth accidentally. Adding flavors will give good fragrance for the gloss. You can also add honey which has a sweet taste. Honey is good for your lips too. Now, you can add colors to your lip gloss. Based on the color you prefer for your lip gloss, add extracts of fruits like blackberry, strawberry, blueberry or raspberry. The shade in your pot should be darker than the shade you wish to have on your lips.
Stir the mixture and let it cool. You can move the contents to a small container and apply the lip gloss when you wish. You need to use soft gloss brush to apply the gloss evenly on your lips. Instead of artificial gloss, apply your home made gloss to protect your lips.
